Artwork Requirements

To ensure the best possible outcome for your printed artwork, please review and adhere to the following guidelines before submitting your files.

Please note that we can’t guarantee proper print if any of the requirements is not met. Generally if you are a designer all standard printing industry rules apply. Main difference in Large Format Print is that image resolution can be lower than 300dpi. See below information for more details.

PDF at 100% scale or 50% or 25% (size and % need to be clearly specified in file name or order). Alternatively it can be EPS with jpg visual enclosed or very good quality JPG.

Please keep your file at reasonable size. If the files size is biger than 100MB then in most cases it means that it is not optimised. Most of artworks can be optimise to a size that is possible to send over via e-mail. Our mailbox can receive attachments up to 50MB. There is always way to optimise a .pdf. Please check all settings in your software when saving your artwork. Particularly make sure that image dpi is downsampled to 150-200dpi and all images inside the file are saved as a JPG.

For large formats apply 150-200dpi to all images. For smaller artworks up to 1sqm area you can apply higher resolution.

All fonts must be converted to curves (outlines, paths)

Saving as .pdf or .eps with embedded fonts is not enough even if it looks OK. All fonts must be converted to outlines (curves, paths).

All graphic including vector graphic and images must be in CMYK colour mode.

Generally all artworks need to be prepared and supplied with bleeds and trim marks in each corner indicating artwork size. Sometimes, for pvc banners for example, we can accept artwork with an outline only or even without outline as long there is colour background and we can see final size borders.
